STATEMENT OF AWARENESS AND ACTION

We, Junior Officers of the Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippine Marines (PMar), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Navy (PN) Fleet, are painfully aware that the supposed Constitutional foundations of this administration are grounded on illegitimacy, abuse and impunity.

We are aware that this administration has not only grabbed power in 2004 but has been abusing that stolen power for its own benefit;

We are aware that those who have positioned themselves in power are involved in rampant irregularities and criminal behavior, and the rule of law can no longer be expected to prevail.

We are aware that our government leaders function with little regard for conscience, moral scruples and the public good, yet when we demanded accountability, we were called de-stabilizers;

We are aware that as citizens are obliged to guard and protect a democracy where suffrage is the people’s right and not merely an exercise to be manipulated and prostituted.

We therefore has resolved to act on our Constitutional obligation to oust a usurper who has violated the sovereign will of the people;

We believe that it is our right and our duty to institute change in government by force or general uprising since all legal and Constitutional means have been thwarted, corrupted or rendered useless.

This being so, we are creating a new democratic nation where the sovereign will of the people will reign supreme and where the tyranny of money-driven leadership shall be a thing of the past. We are bringing back power to the true wielders of power: the Filipino people, who have been silenced, marginalized and disenfranchised by this cabal posing as government.

And to do so we will first sweep out this corrupt and murderous administration. The time to do it is NOW !

Para sa Bayan
Junior Officers of the Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippine Marines (PMar), Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Philippine Navy (PN) Fleet

to all freedom loving and patriotic filipinos...

the time to act is now!

sabi ng aking bubuwit ay nagpatawag na ng miting si gloryang sa military hierarchy at naatasan na naman si ge. assperon wid sec. norberto gonzales to take charge sa coup rumors...bat kaya natatakot si gloryang? this weekend lang series of emergency meetings with pnp at afp officials. hmmm bakit kaya? remember gen. assperon is the man who convinced then gen senga to put gen.miranda and group under custody during the feb 2006 withdrawal of support, expect sudden media hype of gen. asperon in the coming days.

at sabi pa rin ng kaibigan kong bubuwit two batches of afp who then pledges loyalty and support to gloryang is now studying the option to join their comrades mostly junior officers...most of these soldiers, the junior officers are only waiting for a credible leader/s who will guide and start the second wave of feb 2006 incident. and this time they will ignore the bribery and cash allowances provided to them for their loyalty and sympathizes with gen. miranda, gen. lim, col. querubin, maj aquino and group of patriotic filipino soldiers who are victim of gloryang despotic and authocratic regime.

we should support the true soldiers of the filipino, and gen asperon will realize the support of majority of afp is against this corrupt regime.

the time to act is now!

may God help us and our brave filipino soldiers who are finally decided to take the right path - truth and transparency, accountability, drastic reforms to our political system and clamor for a good governance and effective leadership.

the corruption in the afp and pnp have resulted more divisiveness to junior officers and military/ police hierarchy - our soldiers who pledge loyalty to the constitution and to the filipino people are now awaken with various events in and out the barracks, the continuing harrasments of good soldiers, the "wrong war" in mindanao courtesy of assperon etal, the widespread corruption and bribery of generals, the special operations of various units to conduct surveillance/ monitoring of opposition/ known critics and personalities, the long delayed modernization program due to diversion of funds, the human rights abuses, the deepening crisis in our justice system, the confirmation of hello garci election fraud and the mayuga report - this are just some of the reasons why the junior officers are now clamoring for reform and good governance and the batch 9??? and 9??? who before support gma are now against this evil regime.

we should support the action of our patriotic soldiers, not for our generation but to our childrens generation.

God help us.

I am also don't like the Arroyo administration but I have a question of how and why Senator Trillanes win the 2007 election. Is it a sympathy of a common filipino or it has a magic making on the election to boost him?

Anonymous said...

Why should I trust you now, so called soldiers of the people. You to whom I lost my youth. I should have been a priest by now, or probably a lawyer instead my conscience compelled me to fight against the dictatorship of marcos and against you who not only propted up the dictator but benefited greatly from him. Why should I trust you at all, you who hounded me and my kind like wild animals and tortured and murdered many of my friends? Why should I ever trust you when you cannot even admit that "the people" who protected you at EDSA I won their own liberation, instead you would try to rob them of that? What makes you think that you will be any different from lady and his cronies when you were created from the block that they were created? Why should I believe that you will be any less corrupt, purer than they? Wake up so called "soldiers of the filipino people", awake from the delusion that you are the people's only hope, awaken from the delusion that you are the messiahs. Truth is, you are and had always been part of the problem.

Anonymous 2:50,
It would be a mistake for you to think that these soldiers and officers are the same ones who went to EDSA I or II. It would also be a mistake for you to think that these same officers are the ones who tortured the likes of you. These soldiers and officers have railed against the hierarchy that coddled the torturers and "yes" men. Many of them have paid for their opposition to tyranny.
They have not asked for your trust. They merely stated that they have ahd enough of this corruption and are soon going to do what needs to be done.

whoa!!!bilis naman ng media brigade malacanang to counter issues and polarize public opinion.
they have also mobilize protest rally stating they are against coup and other unconstitutional move, they have also held a mass for unity and peace, and they have already conduct series of meetings to gather intelligence info re coup rumors.at this point in time they are conducting loyalty check because they arent sure noble soldiers are still following the chain of command - our noble soldiers clamor for good governance and fight against corruption and abuses is burning like wild fire in and out the barracks.

this time the filipino masses will join the cause of our true patriotic filipino soldiers, this time they are more aware and awaken on various issues of corruption and constitutional violations by malacanang with the help of afp and pnp hierarchy. and time and again, the true patriotic filipino soldiers are not loyal to arroyo or afp hierarchy but to the constitution and to the filipino people. May God help us to get rid of this despotic and authocratic regime of gloria and family and members of malacanang mafia and arroyo corrupt-poration!

to the filipino soldiers who are loyal to the constitution and filipino people, the time to act is now and the masses will support you and join your noble cause.

to the filipino people, they need your support to pursue our common dreams - a strong republic governed by morally righteous leaders.

may God help us.

to gen. miranda, gen. lim, sen. trillanes, maj. aquino, capt. faeldon and to other soldiers and police who are victims of injustice and harrassment...mabuhay po kayo!

if you are painfully aware of whats happening in our country, I would like to say that we, the common filipino people are the most painfully victim of this corrupt regime, we've been looking for a hero like you, we just hope that you are real. It is too painful for us common people that those who has the power (like military) to make change doesn't do anything at all. They play blind, deaf, and so manhid for what is happening. I salute those who stand for their principle like, Senator Trillanes, Gen. Lim, Faeldon, etc. And those who uprise and later on side to this corrupt government I condemned them for they are the traitors of the noble cause.

i think these officers are really for change not for their own benefit. gen Lim categorically stated in his withdrawal of support video to install a CIVILIAN not a military transition govt. this erased my doubts that these officers and gentlemen are there to grab power for themselves. they are truly the soldiers of the filipino people.

1987 CONSTITUTION OF THE PHILIPPINES

ARTICLE II
DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES AND STATE POLICIES

Section 3. Civilian authority is, at all times, supreme over the military. The Armed Forces of the Philippines is the protector of the people and the State. Its goal is to secure the sovereignty of the State and the integrity of the national territory.

St. Augustine once said, "Remove Justice, and what are kingdoms but a band of criminals on a large scale?"

There can be no more appropriate saying to describe this current administration, where the patriotic soldiers are behind bars and the traitors to the people are rewarded with stars and cash.

And those soldiers who are caught up in this difficult situation of having to obey an illegitimate commander-in-chief, are being denied the most basic tactical support and fighting resources that they sorely need to perform their jobs well. They are uncessarily exposed to harm due to lack of field provision, mobility and corrupt practices such as conversion and cost of money.

It makes me sad to see the gains of the previous military leadership disappear under the cloud of the misguided Intengan and Gonzales doctrine. Instead the AFP is being mainly used as a main pillar to support a morally bankcrupt administration. From Bantay-Laya to Bantay-Nakaw.

How can a self respecting cavalier live with his academy honor code under such a chain of command. Let me quote the honor code just to remind all those bogo-bogo who still respects their code.

THE HONOR CODE

"WE, THE CADETS DO NOT LIE, CHEAT, STEAL NOR TOLERATE AMONG US THOSE WHO DO."

1. A cadet does not lie. In his dealing with others, a cadet tells the truth, regardless of the consequences. He does not quibble. He does not make evasive statements.

2. A cadet does not cheat. A cadet does not defraud others nor does he take undue advantage of them.

3. A cadet does not steal. A cadet does not take any personal property of another without the latter’s consent. He does not keep for himself anything that he finds which does not belong to him.

4. A cadet does not tolerate any violation of the Code. A cadet is bound to report any breach of the Code that comes to his attention. He does not countenance by inaction honor violations; if he does, he becomes party to such a violation and he himself is as guilty as the violator.

And to those gallant AFP officers not from the Academy, we salute you for all rising up in an organization inspite of the challenges you have to surmount in proving your true worth as a worthy heir of Bonifacio and Luna. May you find the courage and wisdom to discern as to who you should serve, serve a present day kastila or serve the children of the katipuneros.

CIVILIAN AUTHORITY IS AT ALL TIMES SUPREME OVER THE MILITARY. E sino ba yung civilian authority? E diba yun yung civil government? Atsaka sabi din sa constitution THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES IS THE PROTECTOR OF THE PEOPLE AND THE STATE. E di naman sinabi na PEOPLE BEFORE STATE. The so-called "tagapagtanggol ng Pilipino" are merely soldiers who have problem with authority.

Tantrums of the demigod

By Antonio J. Montalvan II
Inquirer
First Posted 00:44am (Mla time) 07/02/2007

MANILA, Philippines - Eleven million voters were wrong. That's 11 million voters who were mesmerized by Antonio Trillanes IV as a knight in shining armor who comes to save the republic from the ignominy of an unpopular administration.

But mesmerized by what, search me please. His words do not enthrall. His pronouncements are no spellbinders. In fact, I suspect there is nothing between those ears. His oft-repeated boo-boo that he will initiate the impeachment process in the Senate against Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo only exposes his gross ignorance of the legislative process.

Now comes Ramon Tulfo's findings, supported by documentary evidence, that the guy is not even the epitome of the swashbuckling hero against government corruption that he has styled himself to be. And if Tulfo were to be believed, not only the 11 million Trillanes voters but the entire republic itself should now endure the empty antics of a pseudo-hero for the next six years, in a Senate that has long ago contradicted its traditional designation as an august body.

Tulfo calls him the "boy with a new toy." I think he is your typical neighborhood bully in a perpetual tantrum who simply calls attention to himself.

But even long before Tulfo made known his findings of the man whose personal life is largely hidden from public knowledge, we should be thankful to the Dutchman Adriaan de Jager and his Filipina wife Ana Santarin who related the injustices they had to endure under Navy Lieutenant Trillanes.

They were evicted by Trillanes from their Novaliches property without any court order; Trillanes swooped down on the De Jager home with a gang of armed goons. He did not even introduce himself as a Navy lieutenant, but reportedly misrepresented himself as a businessman. Trillanes later used the basement of the house to store a cache of explosives and ammunitions. Because of that, De Jager languished in jail for 15 months.

Do all these sound familiar? Those of us who lived through the Marcos dictatorship should hear bells ringing. The whole Trillanes adventure reeks of politicized military men using their misplaced powers to abuse their role as protectors of the state. That is the bottom line. Military men, including Lacson and Biazon and Honasan, have entered the fray of politics out of a confusion that stemmed from the immense powers the military acquired during the Marcos regime.

But what makes Trillanes a worse case is the sheer hypocrisy of his pronouncements that seemed to have clinched the good impression voters had of him. The anti-corruption demigod that he now is was a lieutenant senior grade in the Philippine Navy whose monthly pay was less than P20,000, but who had the luxury of a Mitsubishi Pajero, a Nissan Terrano, five Mitsubishi Delicas and a Kawasaki motorcycle.

Completing what should make for the glitz of a lifestyle that belongs only to the rich and famous is a posh unit in the Town and Country Club Executive Village in Antipolo. But Trillanes made sure to maintain his "poor and honest" image by listing BF Homes Caloocan as his address in his certificate of candidacy. Tulfo found out that that is the residence of Trillanes' mother. The 11 million voters have been had.

Can anyone please tell me the new definition of moral ascendancy?

The Trillanes campaign was reportedly bankrolled by Jamby Madrigal, another of our more confused senators. But the tittle-tattle says more, that it was actually greased by Estrada money whose jailed patriarch made sure Trillanes won. That is certainly plausible. The disgraced former president always gets linked to anything that has the potential of undermining the administration of his equally disgraceful nemesis in Malaca¤ang.

The storyline has always been clear: accusers are no different from the accused. Ours is a politics of personalities who all represent the same socio-economic and political interests. Does anything surprise us? Nothing should. Under our hypocritical political system, anything is possible. A mutineer becomes senator. Lintang Bedol gets kid-gloves treatment for dereliction of duty. Lani Cayetano gets elected as congresswoman. Dato Arroyo gets minted as the latest dynast in his family. The fightingest anti-Marcos Pimentels are now dynasts too like the late dictator's family. And the Binay family is in power eternally. And more of their ilk in the rest of these 7,100 islands.

Meanwhile, the neighborhood bully with the perpetual tantrum who thinks he is your formidable demigod against other bullies is now in the Senate.

When will the real hero come to save this republic?

Why did the constitution then reiterate "the people" if they are already part of the State? Well, sometimes it is the State that oppresses the people. Sometimes it is the State's agents that are illegitimate. And sometimes -- NOW for instance -- it is only the military that can act to save the people.
Of course civilian authority is supreme. But in the case of a State acting against the interest of the people, the civilian authority -- which emanates from the people -- must be restored. the protector clause does not indicate that when the miilitary protects the people against the State, it must necessarily rule over them. But the Constitution does make it an OBLIGATION for the military to intervene when the State and the State agents -- thats government -- no longer act for the good of the people.

any country does not need an armed forces if the people has the strength and capability to defend itself. and since the people can not protect itself, it forms and organizes an armed forces for one purpose that is to protect them. this includes protection from any harm and abuse perpetuated by corrupt individuals in the govt.

gloria is not the state. any action against her is not an attack against the state.

Who decided that "it is only the military that can act to save the people?"

And where does it say in the Constitution that it is the miltary's obligation to intervene?

The Constitution guaratees protection of the State from lawless elements. Anything that threatens the very existence of the state is high treason and is unconstitutional. It is the obligation of the miltary to protect the government against treason. ("The Armed Forces of the Philippines is the protector of the people and the State. Its goal is to secure the sovereignty of the State and the integrity of the national territory.")

Yes, the constitution states that the government authority emanates from the people, who is sovereign among all. But there are processes on how that comes about. Democracy is about processes. Not just anyone who thinks his idea is good can come out and try to force it on others. That is not democratic.

Take note that the constitution did not mention that the protection of the People takes precedence over the State. It mentions them equally. The problem with your supposition that the state is illegitimate is that it is arguably an opinion. Who decides that a state is illegitimate? Can anyone just say that and run amuck? There are about 90 million Filipinos and 90 about 90 million opinions. That would be anarchy. There are indeed cases where government authorities violate their mandate, and the constitution has provisions for that (Article XI). Never has the constitution mentioned that the military is obligated to hold an uprising in cases where an elected official breaks the law. That is simply absurd.

The military's obligation, as stated in the constitution, however are the following:
Article XVI Section 5.
(1) All members of the armed forces shall take an oath or affirmation to uphold and defend this Constitution.
...
(3)...The armed forces shall be insulated from partisan politics.

No member of the military shall engage, directly or indirectly, in any partisan political activity, except to vote.

TO MY FELLOW CITIZEN-SOLDIERS:

First, let me remind all of you that when we took our oath to be part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, none of us lost our citizenship. Consequently, we did not relinquish our Bill of Rights. Moreover, taking the oath did not obligate us to follow illegal orders. We may have limited freedom of speech now that we are part of the armed forces, but only for purposes of good order and discipline. However, what is good order and discipline to us if, after all, we are being abused by those people who have authority, especially the commander-in-chief, over us in order for them to promote their self-interests but not to the republic?

But why should we waste our time over a long discussion about what is in our constitution or our laws when, in the first place, they have mocked our constitution and they have put themselves above the law? So let me present the one and only solution to the current state of our republic.

We, Filipinos and citizen-soldiers, can never achieve our long-sought true reform when we refuse to make a revolution that is comparable to that of the French revolution. The first heads in the guillotines should be those of the Marcoses and the Romualdezes who are still at large in our mocked republic and who are still spending with impunity the money they had stolen from us. We should not spare any one of them. Next in line should be the corrupt president whom, we all know, cheated her way to the highest post of our republic. Next, should be the heads of the corrupt senators and representatives of our congress. Next, should be the corrupt governors, mayors, and so on. We should not forget the heads of drug lords and gambling lords too. Of course, it is not limited to these people. I almost forgot Estrada.

Let me justify why should the Marcoses and Romualdezes be the first.

THEY SHOULD BE THE FIRST IN THE GUILLOTINE BECAUSE THEY HAVE BECOME THE MONUMENTS OF IMPUNITY IN OUR REPUBLIC. Our republic can never change for so long as we tolerate and let these monuments in stand in our republic for the current and future generations of our republic to see.

Fellow citizen-soldiers, this is the one and only cure against the cancer of our republic. However, we cannot do this with a greatly divided armed forces. We should all unite. If we cannot expect ourselves to lead our fellow citizens, then we cannot expect them to do their part too. If you will not agree with me, fine. Kaya ko rin namang magbubulagbulagan lamang. We can stage endless mutinies or expression of grievances in the public, but in the end, kawawa lang ang ating mga enlisted personnels. Senator Trillanes can propose infinite bills and resolutions, but it will not significantly change the current state of our republic. Again, this is the one and only cure and nothing else. (Due process of law? Baka due process of corruption meron tayo sa Pilipinas.)

True, Gloria is not a state. But she is the head of state. Attempting to overthrow the government and/or kill the president is an attack against the state and is treasonous and/or seditious.

Thats the Arroyo line -- follow the law. This government insists that we FOLLOW the LAW. But they themselves feel they are above it. So they lie, and cheat and steal and abuse the processes because THEY decide what the law is, THEY decide who the criminals are, THEY determine who lives, dies, goes to jail or gets paid. WE have lost our VOICE.
And you can stop saying that any action advocated by the junior officers is an "uprising" Restoring sanity and order and the supremacy of the people's voice is not an uprising.
This Arroyo dictatorship has abused the law, abused due process, abused the presumption of regularity. This country has gone mad because what is right -- the restoration of democracy -- is being belittled and denigrated while thieves and grafters are defended to allow their thievery to continue. Is that the rule of law you are asking us to uphold?

Follow the law...that's the line of any rational, critical thinking person. Regardless of who is saying it (be it GMA or any other law breaker), it doesn't make it less true. Just because they break the law doesn't justify you to do so.

Mga kapwa Pilipino:

One reason wars break out is when diplomacy breaks down and nothing else can be done. We are in a similar situation. Our rule of law has broken down. We cannot repair our republic using the rule of law because, in the first place, our rule of law is broken. We cannot repair something using a broken tool.

The only way to repair our republic is to elimate those people who are responsible. Using the rule of law is hopeless because those people responsible have put themselves above our consitution and our laws of our republic. They control our courts, even our supreme court. Our congress is filled with corrupt politicians who made their way through vote buying.

EDSA I & II happened not because of the rule of law but because of sovereignty of the people. Using the rule of law to repair our current republic would be like using the rule of law against Marcos. Tatawanan lang tayo nila. We are wasting our time trying to use a broken rule of law while they are wasting peoples' money. And worse, a big portion of it comes from government loans.

Civil war is a wrong term. It should be mass execution og corrupt politicians, governtment officials, and corrupt justices & lawyers.

What is a ballpen compared to billions of pesos stolen annually by corrupt politicians. These politicians are not trying to make a living when they steal billions from us. They have more than enough to live even for the rest of their lives.

But in the end, walang mangyayari kung wala tayong aksyon.

Bulok. Tama ang rebolusyon nila Aguinaldo. Kung walang rebolusyon, walang magyayari sapagkat gagawin nila lahat to stay in power at magnanakaw.

Even if we switch to communism, wala pa ring mangyayari hanggaan nauupo ang mga greedy & selfish individuals. Communism is not the answer. Another EDSA is not the answer. Wag na tayong mag-aksaya pa nang oras enumerating the malpractices in our governtment kasi alam na natin lahat. At pagkatapos, aksyon kaagad. Magin vigilantes kayo. Mas magustuhan pa kayo nang mga militar. Mga gago kayo. Bulok ang communism. Nakaapak lang kayo ng UP akala ninyo communism will work. Akala ninyo if we switch to communism biglang magiging honest & honorable ang mga government officials.

There is one and only one solusyon: mass execution og corrupt government officials. Katulad ng ginawa ng mga French. Patayin lahat na mga Marcoses & Romualdezes. Pati ang mga Estrada. Mapaalis man natin si pandak na arroyo, papalit rin ang isang sikat but corrupt na Pilipino. Right now na di natin to magawa, ang nangyayari sa ating republica ay kasalanan natin lahat na mga Pilipino. Sino pa ba? Mga Singaporean? Mga Japanese? Ang US? Tingnan ninyo ang Japan; wasak na wasak after World War II. Tingnan ninyo sila ngayon.

Conclusion: There is one and only one solution: mass execution of corrupt government officials. Not another EDSA. Not coup de tat. Not mutiny. Not religion--for sure.

My Short Essay about the Philippines

Filipinos always complain about the corruption in the Philippines. Do
you really think the corruption is the problem of the Philippines? I
do not think so. I strongly believe that the problem is the lack of
love for the Philippines.

Let me first talk about my country, Korea. It might help you
understand my point. After the Korean War, South Korea was one of the
poorest countries in the world. Koreans had to start from scratch
because entire country was destroyed completely after the Korean War,
and we had no natural resources.

Koreans used to talk about the Philippines, for Filipinos were very
rich in Asia. We envy Filipinos. Koreans really wanted to be well off
like Filipinos. Many Koreans died of famine. My father¡¯s brother
also died because of famine.

Korean government was awfully corrupt and is still very corrupt
beyond your imagination, but Korea was able to develop dramatically
because Koreans really did their best for the common good with their
heart burning with patriotism. Koreans did not work just for
themselves but also for their neighborhood and country. Education
inspired young men with the spirit of patriotism.

40 years ago, President Park took over the government to reform
Korea. He tried to borrow money from other countries, but it was not
possible to get a loan and attract a foreign investment because the
economy situation of South Korea was so bad. Korea had only three
factories. So, President Park sent many mine workers and nurses to
Germany so that they could send money to Korea to build a factory.
They had to go through a horrible experience. In 1964, President Park
visited Germany to borrow money. Hundred of Koreans in Germany came
to the airport to welcome him and cried there as they saw the
President Park. They asked to him, ¡°President, when can we be well
off?¡± That was the only question everyone asked to him. President
Park cried with them and promised them that Korea would be well off
if everyone works hard for Korea, and the President of Germany got
the strong impression on them and lent money to Korea. So, President
Park was able to build many factories in Korea.

He always asked Koreans to love their country from their heart. Many
Korean scientists and engineers in the USA came back to Korea to help
developing country because they wanted their country to be well off.
Though they received very small salary, they did their best for
Korea. They always hoped that their children would live in well off
country.

My parents always brought me to the places where poor and physically
handicapped people live. They wanted me to understand their life and
help them. I also worked for Catholic Church when I was in the army.
The only thing I learned from Catholic Church was that we have to
love our neighborhood. And I have loved my neighborhood.

Have you cried for the Philippines? I have cried for my country
several times. I also cried for the Philippines because of so many
poor people. I have been to the New Bilibid prison. What made me sad
in the prison were the prisoners who do not have any love for their
country. They go to mass and work for Church. They pray everyday.
However, they do not love the Philippines. I talked to two prisoners
at the maximum security compound, and both of them said that they
would leave the Philippines right after they are released from the
prison. They said that they would start a new life in other countries
and never come back to the Philippines.

Many Koreans have a great love for Korea so that we were able to
share our wealth with our neighborhood. The owners of factory and
company were distributed their profit to their employees fairly so
that employees could buy what they needed and saved money for the
future and their children.

When I was in Korea, I had a very strong faith and wanted to be a
priest. However, when I came to the Philippines, I completely lost my
faith. I was very confused when I saw many unbelievable situations in
the Philippines. Street kids always make me sad, and I see them
everyday. The Philippines is the only Catholic country in Asia, but
there are too many poor people here. People go to church every Sunday
to pray, but nothing has been changed. My parents came to the
Philippines last week and saw this situation. They told me that Korea
was much poorer than the present Philippines when they were young.
They are so sorry that there so many beggars and street kids. When we
went to Pagsangjan, I forced my parents to take a boat because it
would fun. However, they were not happy after taking a boat. They
said that they would not take the boat again because they were
sympathized the boat men, for the boat men were very poor and had a
small frame. Most of people just took a boat and enjoyed it. But my
parents did not enjoy it because of love for them.

My mother who has been working for Catholic Church since I was very
young told me that if we just go to mass without changing ourselves,
we are not Catholic indeed. Faith should come with action. She added
that I have to love Filipinos and do good things for them because all
of us are same and have received a great love from God.

I want Filipinos love their neighborhood and country as much as they
love God so that the Philippines will be well off.
I am sure that love is the keyword which Filipinos should remember.
We cannot change the sinful structure at once. It should start from
person. Love must start in everybody in a small scale and have to
grow. A lot of things happen if we open up to love. Let¡¯s put away
our prejudices and look at our worries with our new eyes. I discover
that every person is worthy to be loved. Trust in love, because it
makes changes possible. Love changes you and me. It changes people,
contexts and relationships. It changes the world.

Please love your neighborhood and country. Jesus Christ said that
whatever we do to others we do to Him. In the Philippines, there is
God who are abused and abandoned. There is God who is crying for
love.

If you have a child, teach them how to love the Philippines. Teach
them why they have to love their neighborhood and country.

You already know that God also will be very happy if you love others.
That¡¯s all I really want to ask you Filipinos.

From president down to baranggay captains. Pati mga Marcoses, Romualdezes, Estradas. naval force consists of 2 Kilo SS, 8 Parchim Corvette13, 6 Fatahilah Corvette, 3 Van Spijk
Frigate, 4 Kihajar Dewantara Frigate (non-operational), 12 Patrol Boat PSK-M, and 3
Tacoma LST.14
The Kilo SS is a quiet submarine equipped with 8 Strela-3 (SA-N-8 Gremlin) and
18 VA-111 Torpedoes. The Kilo Class was designed for anti-submarine and anti-ship
warfare in the protection of naval bases, coastal installations and sea-lanes, and also for
general reconnaissance and patrol missions. The Kilo is considered to be one of the
quietest diesel submarines in the world.15 The Parchim Corvette is an advanced patrol
ship with anti-submarine capabilities. The Corvette is armed with 2 quadruple SA-N-5
(24 missiles), 2 twin 16-in torpedo tubes (400-mm), and 4 KH-35. The Fatahilah
Corvette is a fast and small size anti-submarine ship equipped with 2 twin 16-in torpedo
tubes (400-mm). The torpedo tubes can deploy 24 mines and are designed for firing
remote-controlled torpedoes with a very high accuracy.16 The Van Spijk Frigate is a
multi-purpose ship that can be used in the anti-submarine, anti-aircraft, or surface combat
roles. The primary armament consists of one 76 mm gun and 8 SS-N-14 ASCM that has
both anti-ship and anti-air capabilities. The Patrol Boat PSK-M is a modern fast patrol
boat equipped with four KH-35s with capability of cruising at high speed. The ship’s
design allows it to access very shallow water denied to other vessels, making it very
littoral for close range attack. The Tacoma LST, equipped with 2.50 caliber gun, has
capabilities to transport and deploy troops, vehicles, and supplies onto foreign shores to
conduct offensive and invasive military operations. 17
The threat of maritime forces against the Philippines, especially when there is the
overall disruption leading to a political crisis and government instability caused by the
natural disaster of two large volcanic eruptions, in the southern Philippine islands is
perceived as real.

YOU CAN CHANGE THE PHILIPPINES ONLY TO THE EXTENT YOU CAN CHANGE YOURSELF.

In a nutshell, said the American security consultant, one of the chosen strategies of the PLA is to corrupt the leaders of neighboring countries with drug money, or money from the trafficking of drugs. The Philippines under Joseph Estrada seems to have been chosen as pilot for this strategy. Long before Erap was removed from Malacanang, I had read reports that two or three of the many Chinese who hovered around Erap had direct connections to official Beijing. Certainly, no previous Philippine president had ever surrounded himself with so many Chinese.

Kaya pala, said a friend of mine in military intelligence, whenever they investigated the background of drug traffickers that they had nabbed, they often ran into the names of “PLA generals and their wives.” To this day, or as recently as one month ago, the police keep on arresting Chinese nationals involved in drug trafficking who speak neither English nor Pilipino, who seem to have been smuggled in together with the merchandise that they spread.

Because of his Chinese connections, the Americans do not trust Erap or, by extension, his designated successor, Panfilo Lacson. After Chavit Singson blew the whistle on Erap in October 2000 and Lacson’s presidential ambitions were thus shattered by Erap’s impending political demise, Lacson flew to Washington DC in December, in an effort to salvage his presidential future.

It was rumored here that Lacson tried to sell himself to the Americans as an alternative to both Erap (whose Chinese connection he is said to have confirmed) and Gloria (whom he accused of playing footsie with the communists). Lacson has denied this, saying, variously, that he was just visiting his family, or that he went to accept an award from an industrial security organization, or that he was going to an accept a $26 million grant (highly unlikely) from the US House of Representatives for his PNP Foundation, his thinly disguised campaign vehicle for 2004.

But it was confirmed by that American security consultant in that March dinner: it was to them, he claimed, that Lacson tried to sell himself as the next Philippine president .

This article appeared in the February 25, 2002 issue of the Philippine Weekly Graphic magazine.

- lobbying funds sa US congres daang milyon ginagastos pera ni juan dela cruz ginagamit lang to gather support and back-up sa charter change.
- fertilizer scam, swine scam diversion of govt funds for political campaign funds ni gloria
- economic sabotage due to open smuggling courtesy of father and sons tandem ng mga arroyos
- nbn-zte, north rail, etc.
- isama mo pa ang bribery scandals from congress, afp/ pnp, judiciary, etc etc.
- rampant corruption at dysfunctional procurement from barangay level to office of the mayor, governors, financial institution at govt bureacracies and agencies.

we support you, and this time the public is more aware of the crimes of malacanang mafia and arroyo corrupt-poration!

may God help us to pursue our noble dream for our country and for our childrens future!!!!

Ikulong?

Isa lang kasi ang solusyon: GUILLOTINE PARA SA MGA CORRUPT NA PILIPINO, FROM PRESIDENT DOWN TO BARANGAY COUNCILORS.

Kung ikukulong natin sila lahat, ibig sabihin niyan ay gagamitin natin ang rule of law, which we know that is not working anymore in our country.

Mga Junior Officers of the AFP:

Wag kayong pagago-gago.

Overthrowing the president, if that's what you think only of coup d'etat, and replacing a new one is not the answer.

Gumawa rin kayo ng listahan nito--from president down to barangay councilors.

Alam nila; alam natin. They will just break your heart. Saan na ang courage integrity & loyalty?

Diba akala ninyo superman kayo noong plebo kayo.

Lahat.

Much as we want to hear the romantic retorics of certain "idealistic" members of the AFP such as what we have in these site, well the writings in here reminds me of the young soldier i was a couple of decades ago. Indeed it stirs the nationalistic / patriotic side in us to topple a perceived unpopular president. Unpopular as she may be but still it is better to have an unpopular president than have the consitutional instititions in this country to be destroyed by an unelected group of armed men who has no specific objective other than the general motherhood statements similar to that found in comic books and movies. Running government as you may not know is a complex matter and is not as simple as the military chain of command system of order which you are so accustomed to. In the military, you follow first and question later. There is no room for discontent. So assuming first the sake of argument that a military junta is put up, im sure what will be their first order of business is to silence the counter revolutionaries permanently. I would rather have an imperfect constitutional government than that run by military rough necks who probably cant even get themselves elected by their high school alumni association. DREAM ON.

Tama.

How could Filipinos expect to be self-sufficient in rice if, in the first place, rice production cannot keep with the rate at which the Philippine population is growing. 2nd, total rice field area is decreasing due to the growing population kasi ginawang school campus or kung ano pa man diyan.

we should inform the public and provide them our intelligent reasoning on facts in regards to different issues and to help the public be aware of such consequences when such things will happen, tama na yung pagsali sa mga blogsite tapos puro kagaguhan lang ang sinsasabi, sayang yung panahon ninyo at walang mangyayari kung nanggugulo lamang kayo.

mahiya kayo

To those advocating mass execution of "corrupt" government officials, there is folly in your argument is that who decides who is corrupt and who is not? He who has no sin cast the first stone. A people's court, probably? Well, who will check against the excesses of the "people's court?" Ok, let's organize a court to police the people's court, ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

Joseph Stalin did it in his time. It was called the Great Purge. The French did it during the Revolution. They called it La Grande Terreur. Both became tools for political repression. Everyone against the revolutionary government is to be executed and shades of self righteousness rings loudly.

I believe that by doing what you propose, we will be degrading further our already degraded society. Let us not fall into this trap. It is precisely because of self righteousness that republics fall into tyranny. It's not because of lust of power and greed for money. It is because individuals believed that they alone know what's right. That's how it is with Adolf Hitler. That's how it is with Fredinand Marcos.

If I where you stupid soldiers you and your supporters should go to hell.

soldiers should
1. Protect and Obey the constitution because it's your basis of existence as the legitimate Military organization of the Philippines. How can you protect that constitution if you yourselves go against it? Example breaking the chain of command is a clear violation of constitution.

2. Protect the people? What people? the people who wants the government down. Whatever you do you can't change the society and you can never change anyone because simply it's against their will. If they want to be bad they can be it's a free society.

3. Protect the state and it's sovereignity. Because of you this country will be the next afghanistan simply because you are much more willing to support politician that are funding the terrorist and also the communist rebels. Ain't that shocking but that's the proof and I can prove that and there are pictures, videos and audios (oops it's not accepted as evidence) that your own people are exchange guns and ammo and even selling spare parts to the people who is concidered enemy of the state.

You are all worhtless for me, unless your mind stopped thingking of money and continue to do your mandated duty.

The best way to stop corruption in AFP and in the government is not to do, not to be and not in anyways be involve with it. So that in that way you can replace those evil masters of yours.

Changes now, you change the future.
