STOP TYRANNY! ESTABLISH A JUST AND HUMANE GOVERNMENT.

When I submitted myself to trial in August 2006, I had faith in the system then. I did so with the full belief that no matter the quality of people who man the positions of power in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the system works, and that it would work in delivering justice. I do not have such faith anymore.

Today, the court martial will rule on the Demurrer to Evidence filed by the defense lawyers. The outcome of this trial today – dismiss or continue with the trial– will not change my loss of faith, because the damage has been done.

I see Maj. Aquino and Cpt. Divinagracia mourn their terrible losses, made even worse by their prolonged separation from beloved family members, now forever gone. Col. De Leon Col. Segumalian, Lts. Estolas and Sereno are lucky to get yearly visits from their province-based families.

I look at the upstanding officers detained with me and I see careers derailed, and the country deprived of their honest outstanding service. Worse, I see undeserving people, cowardly, callous, selfish and greedy perpetrating themselves in power, at the expense of these detainees.

This trial is indicative of much that is wrong with the present governance. It shows that discipline is demanded from – and more often than not, given by – those who do not wield power. So we pay our taxes, follow orders from our superior officers, obey the laws, submit to processes. In return our officials steal from us, evade the law, lie blatantly, cheat openly and make us out for fools. When we are hurt or oppressed by such actions no restitution is forthcoming. To them, this is justice and democracy.

There is no doubt that we are all innocent of these trumped up charges. Yet my fellow officers were unjustly detained and subjected to a choreographed trial. Our lives are being continuously hostaged by unscrupulous powerful individuals.

Definitely, we can endure the severity of detention and the bastardization of the process.

This is tyranny. Tyrants must be removed. A just and humane government must be established; a government of the people, for the people and by the people.

Sir. It is right on what you see in our system of govennment. They make the law for the people but they excluded them selfe. You see how justice work on our country. Bulag ba sila o manhid?

I predict that the days of those corrupt public officials and their loved ones are numbered. (The punishment would be bloody, efficient, kamikazi, and more brilliant and creative than what happened recently in Mumbai.) Why their loved ones would also be butchered? Perhaps because corruption and treason run in the family.
Eradicating organized graft and corruption is like fighting a rattlesnake. Give it enough time and it will turn around and bite.
We are going to die anyway- so it will be wiser for us to die for the good of the many.
To let you know or to remind you, tiny Taiwan, New Zealand, and Singapore have bigger economies than our country because they have a very minimal graft and corruption problem.

These power hungry snakes will not relinquish their hold on power so easily. It will definitely be a difficult battle. Gloria's power base should be crushed and her C3 degraded. Majority of the Filipinos believe that the country will be a lot better off without a Gloria Dorobo at the helm.

Those corrupt public officials and their mafiosis just want those registered voters who follow the laws and rules to just rollover or be treated like stupid, insensitive punching bags.
Making noise is not enough! The military must quit sitting obediently!

How about the Reserve Officer Corps and the Reserve Forces, you are contented being an audience in the many problems which our country is facing? It seems you are like a carabao with a rope tied on the nose and when pulle'd to any angle you immediately follow (Never mind principle and patriotism), how pitiful people you are!

Apparently, You Gen. Lim is a highly educated and professional soldier, but it's nothing when your are talking about changing society. You got to be a revolutionary in thought in words and in deed.

As an intelectual soldier you have to look beyond the limit of your academic training to equip your self with the most advance tools for social analyses so that you will discover and reconize your friends your potential allies and your enemies, not in a personal sense but in revolutionary sense, taking the point of view, the stand and the interest of the masses of people at heart. So that you will not keep falling prey and taken advantage of by the opportunist and predators.

How could you support Aquino? If you know who really they are, I wonder if you could even associate youself with them once you find out their story. If want to find out the truth , find it out from the history, from the time of del Pilar, Gregorio, at least, up to the time their family (the Cojuanco)took position of the famous Barrio Bantog (Hacienda Luisita)estate.

This is all for now, its getting late here in the West Coast of the USA. Good Luck. anyway!

Well, as for me I would have prepared to see Francis Escudero and Francis Pangilinan run for the presidency. It would have been acceptable and better choice for everyone. But I'm sure my gov't well not be very happy about it.

This comment is for Soldier Trillanes and Lim, Danny:

The truth commission being organized to investigate the crimes of previous regime is actually a White Wash Commission especially headed by Davide who is wanting in integrity.
This commission will never come up with the truth because all the previous regime in our memories are all guilty of the same crime: Puppetry, Corruption and Betrayal.

The first statement of Gazmin with regards to the on going insurgency or people,s war, as the NPA called it, calling them to lay down their arms is a no BRAINER. I wonder if he understand his job.
With all due respect,His experience is best suited to a security guard position for Noy noy Aquino, as he was under the Cory incumbency.

Coup plotters you have been demonized by the enemies of change and revolution but as long as you remain loyal to the country and against the puppet regime coming one after another, you will be vindicated and the revolutionary masses will finally embraced you.
How soon? Well, how soon will you come to your senses and finally embrace the people's agenda: Independence, Liberation and Revolution.

This Your Problem. The Arm Forces Commander in Chief, is the Grandson of a Japanese Collaborator who was your enemy last world war two. The Filipino People was not told about this by the media and by the teachers because it was not being taught in school. See Below:

Kataksilan Kayo ang Humatol....

Pamilya ng Makabayan o Taksil?

September 3, 1894 was the birthday of Benigno A Aquino, the father of Senator Ninoy Aquino and the grandfather of President Noynoy Aquino. During World War II he was one of the most high-profile of collaborators with the Japanese; a man whose position granted him great power and influence over the future of the Philippines under Japanese rule.He was the Speaker of the National Assembly from 1943-1944, under President Jose P Laurel. As well, but most damningly, he acted as the Director of the KALIBAPI; the only political party that was allowed under Japanese rule. The organization was fascist in nature, including almost mandatory membership in the group. It was under the auspices of the KALIBAPI that the 1943 Philippine Constitution was drafted and accepted. Note, that all of the delegates who ratified that temporary Constitution were members of the KALIBAPI. In other words, the passage of the Constitution ‘formalizing’ the links between Japan and the Philippines was all but guaranteed. It deserves reminder that the Japanese Occupation numbered almost one million dead, most of the Filipino civilians. That period was marked by terror and murder. There was a cadre of influential Filipinos who collaborated with the Japanese government, for whatever their reasons, to consolidate Japanese imperial power in the archipelago. It also bears reminder that there was a Philippine government in existence at the time, it was in exile. So, while Filipinos were fighting and dying, while civilians were living in fear, men like Benigno Aquino and Jose P Laurel, again for whatever their reasons, were collaborating with an invading military power in the midst of a World War.Benigno Aquino, when it looked like the Japanese were going to lose, fled to Baguio with the Japanese government. Soon after he was arrested for war crimes and treason against the Filipinos. He died in 1947 while watching a boxing match, trial for treason pending. What a treachery.
